NAME: Billy Yovanovich WHERE FROM: Haida Gwaii, BC Canada HARVESTED: Graham Island TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: 7mm Ruger SPECIES TYPE: Rocky Mountain Elk SIZE AND WEIGHT: 8x7, 750-800 lbs. DESCRIPTION: I left the base camp at 7:30am Halloween morning on the third day of the hunt while my 2 partners were sleeping. I walked the ridge near camp calling my Jones Elk cow call and this nice bull appeared within 20 yards, so I dropped him with a shot to the neck. I arrived back at camp with the rack as the boys were just packing up. We all couldn't believe it as it was an extremely large bull for this area.
