DESCRIPTION: I was hunting in Knox County with my dad and I was looking through my scope when the buck appeared. I wasn't going to let him get away so I took aim and shot. I missed and he came within 20 yards of me. My gun is a single shot and it wouldn't open. It was stuck shut. I had to just sit and look at him. I finally got it open and he had moved behind a brush pile. As soon as I could see him again I shot. The bullet must have nicked a sapling because I aimed for his heart and hit him underneath the eye. He immediately fell. My dad called everybody we knew before I got out of the woods, he was so proud. I think he was more excited then I was. We had it put in the news paper, and I got to show the whole city my thanksgiving blessing.
