NAME: Preston Kiser WHERE FROM: Charlotte, NC HARVESTED: McMullen County, Texas TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: Winchester Model 70 in 7MM WSM SPECIES TYPE: Whitetail SIZE AND WEIGHT: The deer was a 180 lb 10 point and was approximately 6-1/2 years old. DESCRIPTION: This is Preston's second buck (his first being a 4 point). He was hunting with his dad on a lease in Texas and spotted the deer chasing a doe on the last morning of the last day of hunting. Dad came home empty handed but was quite happy that he was able to track Preston's deer after the shot through 150 yards of cactus and mesquite with only 3 drops of blood to go on.
