NAME: Thomas Farrell WHERE FROM: New Jersey HARVESTED: New Jersey TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: Browning 12 Gauge Semi-Automatic Shotgun SPECIES TYPE: Whitetail SIZE AND WEIGHT: 10 Pointer DESCRIPTION: I decided to go hunting a week after a few feet of snow blanketed New Jersey. I sat in my ladder stand over a pile of corn that has been dug up by hungry deer. Just as I was about to call it a night, a herd of bucks came running towards my stand. As I tried to take the deer closest to me, I could not lift my arm up high enough, due to my excessive clothing layers. I was forced to take this 10 pointer, which was standing directly in front of me. By all means, this 10 pointer was not the biggest of the group, but he was my trophy of 2005.
