Young Idaho hunter makes a dream come true

NAME: LeAndra Smith WHERE FROM: New Meadows, ID HARVESTED: Central Idaho TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: .223 single shot SPECIES TYPE: tom cougar SIZE AND WEIGHT: 8 feet, 7 inches, 150 lbs. DESCRIPTION: LeAndra turned 12 on Dec. 5th, 2003. All she wanted for her birthday was to kill a cougar. Her parents bought her a hunting license, hound hunter permit, and tag and took her hunting. They came across a nice cougar track and the dogs treed it for her. LeAndra made a good shot and made her dream come true. She was one happy little hunter.
