NAME: Kyle McNeal WHERE FROM: Leduc, Alberta, Canada HARVESTED: Lodgepole, Alberta, Canada TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: Remington Model 700 .270 SPECIES TYPE: Whitetail SIZE AND WEIGHT: 4x4(116 5/8), 180 lbs DESCRIPTION: I had a half an hour of legal shooting time left in the season and I was beginning to think I would have to wait until next year to get my buck. This buck however stepped out in the nick of time, allowing me to get a quick shot off that hit him in the neck, dropping him in his tracks. It isn't a big deer by any means, but I'm proud it's my first.
