Big bodied North Dakota buck

NAME: Brad McLean WHERE FROM: Harwood, ND HARVESTED: North Dakota SPECIES TYPE: Whitetail DESCRIPTION: I was lucky enough to get this big boy on the 2000 North Dakota gun opener. It was a cool November day, around 50 with a light wind out of the northwest. My brother and I were sitting in tree stands about 40 yards apart. He motioned to me that a big buck was coming! It laid down about 30 yards from my brother but he was just watching (not hunting) so I climbed down and stalked the buck. Not only did I harvest him at 30 feet, but also a large doe that was lying next to him!!
