DESCRIPTION: Caribou:
I harvested this great Caribou on an unguided hunt with my friends. He was taken on the first day I was able to hunt and was in a bachelor group of 13 bulls. We got several bulls during our stay with all but one going over 360 inches. I can also say we saw a lot bigger bulls but just couldn't get to them quick enough. It was a great hunt and beautiful country. Special thanks to my friend, Jim Jairell, for making this hunt possible.
Mule Deer:
This is my biggest mule deer to date. He was taken on opening morning and was with another buck that was slightly bigger. I couldn't get a shot at the other buck due to how he was feeding, but this one was feeding broadside to me. I made a good 200-yard shot and the buck never took a step. This once in a lifetime buck is a typical 4x4 and is 30" wide.
