Virginia hunter goes gator hunting!

NAME: Randall Bain WHERE FROM: Buena Vista, VA. HARVESTED: Palm Beach County, Florida TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: Remington 700 BDL rifle .30-06 SPECIES TYPE: Alligator SIZE AND WEIGHT: 9 1/2 feet long DESCRIPTION: My hunt was with Okeechobee outfitters in Okeechobee, Florida. The hunt took place along canal systems. I saw probably 60 alligators that afternoon. I saw this alligator about 20 minutes into the hunt. I decided he was too big to pass up. I was afraid I would see one bigger but as the saying goes, a bird in hand is better than two in the bush. After retrieving the gator, we rode around and took pictures and enjoyed the scenery.
