NAME: Possum Al WHERE FROM: Kentucky HARVESTED: Woodford County, KY TYPE OF FIREARM OR BOW USED: Browning .243, 80-grain Blitz Varminter SPECIES TYPE: coyote SIZE AND WEIGHT: 58-pound male DESCRIPTION: Here is a picture of my largest coyote, a 58 lb. male that I called in and shot in Woodford County, KY. He responded to a female invitational howl during the mating season. The shot was at 185 yards with a Browning .243, 80-grain Blitz Varminter. This is the 14th male over 50 pounds I have harvested in eight years of coyote hunting.
